Easy Sausage Balls

A flaky biscuit filled with melty cheese and sausage.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4-1/2 cup milk
  • 2 TB butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 TB baking powder
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 lb sausage, browned

Method
 

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Cut in butter.
  2. Add egg and 1/4 cup of milk and stir. Add a little more milk if necessary to help the batter comes together.
  3. Fold in sausage and cheese.
  4. Scoop onto parchment lined baking sheet. I use a large ice cream/cookie scoop for this.
  5. Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned.
