Easy and Delicious Cranberry French Toast Bake

This festive French toast is perfect for a holiday gathering and simple enough for a week day breakfast.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 3/4 cups fresh cranberries
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 loaf rustic bread, such as sourdough

Method
 

  1. Melt butter in a cast iron skillet.
  2. Add honey and cranberries and stir until mixture begins to bubble and cranberries begin to pop.
  3. Dump in cubed bread and stir to coat with the honey butter mixture.
  4. In a large measuring cup, whisk together, eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla.
  5. Pour egg mixture over bread.
  6. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes or until eggs are set.
  7. Serve with butter and maple syrup.
