Christmas truly is the most wonderful time of year! We fully embrace the season and savor it for all its worth because it truly is so special.
Although it truly is easy to get caught up in all of the things, we believe that the memories that we create with our children and our family are the most important. The time we spend together is what will be remembered and leave a legacy for our children. And so we aim to keep Christmas simple and special. We each will have 2-3 main gifts under the Christmas tree and then a stocking full of special little gifts. The stockings are my favorite and I really our simple Christmas. We have found that too much just becomes overwhelming anyway.
On Christmas morning we have a special breakfast and enjoy opening gifts and spending time together playing games, taking walks, resting, and reading. It is truly a special, relaxing day.
